Immigration follow-up

I’ve never been a Ronald Reagan cheerleader, which renders this video ironic. Reagan called America to remember the source of its greatness in his final speech as president: The immigrant. The speech is cluttered with cliches and portrays our nation as a near Utopia, which could draw cynicism from snarks everywhere. But stop. Compare and contrast his vision with the current president’s spiteful fear-mongering. And note the Gipper’s point: America will dwindle to just another mean-spirited country if it fails to welcome immigrants. So much for MAGA.
