I suddenly remembered something while watching this short video by Robert Reich, President Clinton’s Secretary of Labor: History’s biggest economic boom thundered during the 1950’s and ’60’s and was undergirded by the theories of John Maynard Keynes. But Keynes fell out of fashion — something about how his thinking was all washed up despite the boom of all booms … What happened? Did Keynes belch at the wrong place? Was it his breath? Was there something between his teeth that offended aristocratic party-goers ..?

Hello?  Anyone out there? Inquiring minds want to know!
